Getting in touch with your creativity.

Do you want to get in touch with your inner passion and creativity?  Well, to do this you need to find out exactly what you want from your life.  Then figure out how to dig out those long buried passions and interests is another story. While you are setting about the task of creating a vision board you may find yourself taking steps that will open you up mentally and allow you to relax and feel creative in order to find those inner desires.
Indoors and outdoors you can take some time out for yourself to relax in a few different spaces, surround yourself with different objects to see what makes you feel something different. Relaxation is all well and good, but feeling the urge to DO something is even better. Do your surroundings make you want to sing or take a photograph? perhaps they make you feel like drawing, writing or maybe even sitting and daydreaming -   the idea is to find the ideal place for you to get into a mind-space where you can be in touch with your inner self.
If you are making a vision board then you can use meditation, music and pictures to inspire you.  but you also need to think of your surroundings.  If you have creative surroundings then your passions will be inspired.  Are you happy in a neutral room with calm and soothing colours, or do you prefer bright and vibrant colours? You can find out what creative surrounding work best for inspiring you by trying out different things and experimenting a little bit. You can also listen to different music to see which inspires you the most.
Even if you're not making a vision board it's important to spend some time in a creative space so that you can remain in touch with your inner passions and creativity. This leads to a more balanced attitude and less stress in your life.  When you think of creative surroundings you may feel that in order to be creative you should be surrounded by artworks but creative surroundings aren't just about the décor, it's about how it makes you feel. So if your creative place is sitting on a tree branch in the woods listening to the birds sing, or in a window seat with sunlight streaming in, that's wonderful. It's all about you and how your space makes you feel.
Some people get in touch with themselves while they are relaxing, others need some stimulation in order to stir their creative juices. No matter what sort of surroundings work for you the idea is to open your mind to all the possibilities and get into a place where you can see yourself working towards a goal of some kind.
